Camping with the Jones'...literally
The weekend of July 4 we decided to go to the cabin with the Jones' Family. Randi and Brad have a log cabin somewhere in Oklahoma about 4 hours from Henrietta. Actually, it's about 3 hours to the town (Antler...I think is the name of the nearest town???), then about 45 minutes on a gravel/rock road up a steep mountain to the actual cabin. I was shocked to see the mountains in Oklahoma...who knew??? The cabin was so nice, the AC was the best, and there was plenty of room for all 8 of us. While there, we cooked out, went on hikes, rode the ranger through the woods, went swimming in a lake, ( I actually sat and watched most of the swimming because those who know me know I HATE swimming in lakes...to many strange things always manage to touch me in the water), and did fireworks! All 4 girls got along great and so did us adults...hahaha. We had a great time and look foward to making another trip!
It's Been a HOT Summer!!!
I know, I know...I have gotten way BEHIND on blogging. You would think with me being off work for the summer, I would stay caught up. Yeah right...we've been on the go practically all summer and just haven't found time to sit down and catch up. Actually, the past 2 days I have been in bed with strept throat...I have never had strept throat and hope I NEVER get it agian...it's been miserable. BUT, I decided to do a lil "blogging" whild laying in bed.
One of my best friends (since preschool) and her family moved back to the Henrietta area mid-May. We have truly enjoyed every minute of them being here. The girls love playing with the boys and I have enjoyed catching up on lost time with Amy. We have had several cookouts, play dates, and swim days. We look foward to many more days with the Coleman family and lasting memories with our children.

Cameron's Preschool Graduation
Cameron had her preschool graduation this past Thursday. She has attended the Little Learning Ranch the past two years and LOVED every minute of her time there. It's amazing how much she changed from a toddler into a little "girl." Mrs. Trish and Mrs. Kelisha are the greatest teachers and Cameron will miss each of them so much next year. Cameron made so many memories while attending the Little Learning Ranch and developed several friendships I am sure will last for a long time. :) I am sad to know that she will not be attending LLR in the fall, but Jaylee will soon take her place. Cameron...mommy and daddy are so proud of all that you accomplished while attending the LLR. You are a very bright little girl who will achieve many great tasks in the years to come because of all the things you learned the past 2 years. We love you!
Here are the graduates minus 2...watch out HES!!!
Of course Jaylee had to pose in front of the tree and do her big grin for everyone!
Cameron receiving her diploma and handprint. Cameron received the "reading" award. This girl LOVES to read...she literally can pick up a book and do pretty well reading. I guess she gets her love from reading from me! :)
I love this picture...so sweet and innocent.
Cameron and Mrs Trish
Cameron and her semi-boyfriend Cooper. He brought her flowers and a card. Cameron was so excited because he picked the flowers himself and made the card especially for her. Cooper and his lil brother just moved back to Henrietta from Oregon...we are so EXCITED to have the back for good!
Cameron and Atlee...such sweet girls, at least for now. :)
Jaylee and Cooper waiting patiently for their hot dogs and strawberries! I think Jaylee has a secret "crush" on Cooper by the smile she has on her face.

I wanted a pic of Cameron and me...this was the best I could get.
After graduation, there was a little party for the kids...it included pony rides!
Jaylee riding her pony...what a natural! LOL
I had to put this picture in. We got home from the party around 9pm. I gave the girls a quick bath, turned on the TV for Cameron and went to put Jaylee to bed. When I came back to put Cameron to bed, this is how I found her. I know she had to be EXHAUSTED to fall asleep with the TV on...she NEVER will fall asleep if the TV is on. So, needless to say, she slept with John and I. :)

Last Soccer Game of Spring, 2011
Cameron had her last soccer game a couple of weeks ago. The Rowdy Angels ended the season with a big win!!! I was so impressed to watch the girls improve over the past couple of months. Being the competitive person I am, I was nervous when Cameron said she wanted to play soccer because neither John or I ever played the sport. However, Cameron shocked us all and turned out to be a great soccer player...she scored several goals a game, played awesome defense, and really showed a competitive side that I have never seen in her. Needless to say, John and I were really proud of her first soccer season. She can't wait to play again in the fall.
This was one of Jaylee's favorite spots during the games...front row lounging in the stroller.
My sis and her daughter made it to the last game...Caris was getting pointers for when she is old enough to play.
Cameron and me taking a quick pic before the game starts!
The next few pics are Cameron in action...what a little hustler. :)
Cameron running over to Coach Rowdy after she scored a goal.
Cameron getting ready to score again as she outruns the other team.

Quick family pic minus Jaylee...no telling where she was. :)
Mother's Day 2011
So, I am really behind on blogging, but I'm hoping to get caught up this week. I am going to start with Mother's Day. This year we didn't celebrate in any HUGE way, but I was able to spend the entire weekend with the people who mean the most to me....John, Cameron, and Jaylee. I never truly appreciated Mother's Day as much as I do now that I am a mother to 2 of the most amazing daughters. Both Cameron and Jaylee bring me so much happiness and completeness to my life. I am truly blessed to be called a mother by these 2 precious girls.
